Why are we here?
Vision 2020 is about our community and what it’s going to look like at the end of
this decade. Vision 2020 is a community visioning process designed to generate 10
great ideas that can be implemented in Austin. The idea generation process starts
now and runs through October 14.
You are here to get an update on the progress to date, and because we will need
your help to generate ideas in the community over the next several months.
Our target is to generate 1,000 ideas by 10/14/11 and then start the process of
narrowing those ideas down to 100, then to 30, then to 10.
What is Our Mission?
To inspire our community to collectively create a vision for a greater Austin through a city wide effort where all ideas are welcome and the best are brought to life.

Idea Sessions
We need to hold 40 to 50 idea sessions in Austin between now and the end of September. Idea sessions run for about 15 minutes.
Generating 1000 ideas will take the efforts of everyone and we will need your help scheduling meetings. You are the key to engaging our entire community!
